Fishing
The River Torridge is renowned for its Flounders throughout the year, with larger ones turning up in winter when fish over 3lb can be taken. There is also excellent Bass fishing most of the year – a 6lb specimen was taken the first day we had access to fish from the balcony! Other species that might be caught are Eels, Whiting and Mullet.
